Kids Cooking Classes

CALLING 9 - 16 yr Olds! 

LEARN HOW TO COOK HEALTHY MEALS SO YOU FEEL AMAZING.

                                     - Monday classes - beginners, for those that have not attended my classes                                               before.  - Due to this class being so popular I have made another classes on                                         Thursday at the same time

                                       - Tuesday classes - cooking with confidence, for those that have attended                                               classes or are confident in the kitchen.

                                     -  Thursday classes - beginners, for those that have not attended my classes                                               before.

 

AGE ? 

 Classes are for 9 yrs - 16 yrs.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

These classes are fun. I love teaching kids how to cook. Chefs are treated like adults when it comes to cooking – this is not a "cup cake class"! 

Classes are not a basic cooking class. These lesson will be taken to another level and you will be taught skills that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

 Students participants will:

  • Learn how to be confident, safe and hygienic in the kitchen.
  • Cook delicious healthy meals! Hands on experience guaranteed.
  • Use foods that are full of nutrition. 
  • Learn the why's and how's of cooking, creating a foundation for growth!
  • Will learn to cook a meal without processed sugar that tastes fantastic.
  • Will use home grown vegetables and fruit from the Real Food Now garden. 
  • Participants take home a food quantity sufficient for themselves (but parents can still taste!). 
  • Maximum 6 - 8 Children per class for a safe hands-on experience.

WHAT DO I BRING?  

You need to bring containers to take home their delicious creations. Eat a snack before coming, so you are fully focused for the cooking programme ahead.

COST?  

This course runs until the end of term 1.

These classes run for 2  hours, per lesson.

The cost is $25.00 per class. This cost includes all food used and hands on experience. No hidden extras, although containers will need to be supplied.

Classes will be run during the week and after school, from 4 pm - 6pm, during school terms. Fill in the form below for the next Cooking Class dates.

             March 2nd,  9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

 WHERE IS IT?  

Classes will be held at the homely Real Food Now kitchen in Arthurs Point, Queenstown.
