I love these light crepes, they are really filling unlike a crepe made with white flour.
Buying Muesli can be really expensive. Making it is so easy. You really use ingredients you can afford. You can change my recipe by taking away ingredients or adding others. There is no real measurements here. You just need enough sweetener and coconut oil which will give it that extra taste and helps with the toasting. No processed sugar or fructose here.
This is a gluten free Granola that can be used to top hot fruit as a crumble, a breakfast with your choice of milk or a snack.
Forget the white flour and try Buckwheat flour, it is a gluten-free, which is related to the rhubarb and sorrel. It is rich in protein and dietary fibre. One serving of 100 gr gives your 13.30 gr of protein. They are as you can imagine, very filling.

It is hard to find a peanut butter that has no added salt, bad oils or sugar in it. If you do it can often be expensive. I make my own. It is quick and easy. The only important part is, you need a blender that is at least 1500 watts or more. I add extra virgin olive oil into mine because I seem to only be able to buy peanuts with their shells on. (making it a little more, drier when making ) I am not going to remove the shells so adding the oil give the butter a smooth texture.
Here is a dip that can be used with raw vegetable sticks or like I have added below, roast vegetable salad.
Artichoke Hearts - I used a jar of quartered and Marinated Hearts. I remove the water and because it was slightly salty and had herbs added, I did not need to add this.
Nutrition in Artichoke Hearts - It has a good source of Niacin, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and copper. It also has a really good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, K and Folate and Manganese.
This is the dip that I love to use with a roast vegetable salad.It is creamy and full of flavour.
Dip some gluten free bread or any other healthy bread into your favourite Extra Virgin Olive Oil and then into the Dukkah dip. It is cheap and very very easy to make.
Sumac - is a dried fruit of the Sumac Spice. It can be used with fish or in marinades for meat. You can also use it instead of lemon or vinegar. Sumac means Red.
Nutrition - Sumac is an anti fungal, anti microbial, anti oxidant and anti inflammatory.

I love my recipe for the wraps. I have used it a lot on realfoodnow.nz. In summer I would keep the mixture for two days in the fridge and fry them up fresh. You can freeze them but it is not quite the same.
Easy to make and loaded with flavour. Served with fried quinoa, brown and black rice and bok choy.
I love cooking a chicken this way. In the past I have used a slow cooker, but I find the chicken nicer this way. The flavour is really intense and the small amount of liquid that comes from the chicken is delicious poured over the chicken once it is cut into pieces.
Fried crunchy chicken drum sticks with potato wedges and roasted vegetables. Served up on a wooden board topped with sour cream and sprinkled with smoked paprika.
I love cooking this meal. The mixing and cooking is done in the same roasting dish. Place it in the oven and walk away. So easy and tastes great.

A healthy vegetable Thai curry that is full of flavour and goodness. One of my families favourite. You can make it as hot as you like, using my Red Curry Paste, makes it even more delicious.

Who does not love Winter and crockpot meals. Throwing all your ingredients into a crockpot and then going out for the day, come home, and it smells like MAMA'S been in the kitchen all day.
I will be sharing a lot of recipes for the crock pot. Time to stop working so hard in the kitchen. If you don't have a crockpot, just go and buy one. I usually cook on low for the longer period of time, just in case I get caught up in town for longer.
Freezer - A large freezer should be one of your best friends in Winter. When you are having a ''feel like staying in the kitchen day'' Prepare a whole lot of RAW crockpot meals and place them in a freezer. The night before you just, take out a RAW meal and thaw overnight and then tip it into the crockpot and turn it on.
Lasagne without the pasta ?
- When you feel like a lasagne but don't have any sheets of pasta and you have run out of flour to make pasta.
- When you don't want any gluten in your meal because you have already had bread today.
or when you have heaps of marrows / courgettes in your garden and tired of eating Ratatouille.

These tastie Krofta's are delicious with mint, parsley, cumin and allspice. Lamb mince is normally use but I have used beef mince. We made burgers with them and took them down to the lake for a family picture.
Wagyu Bavette Steak is a French cut from the flap off the T-bone. Wagyu is a marbled steak that is loaded with flavour. Polenta chips are a fun and easy option for a meal. I served this meal with brocilli, baked tomatoes, grilled aspragus and sour cream and chives.
No more boiling your brussel sprouts, It is roast or raw. (I never eaten them raw) I usually just roast them with a little coconut oil and season, but I have found a chorizo sausage that has natural flavouring instead of the orange colour that is soooo bad for you.
If you love meat, you will love meatballs, especially kids. I have used tin tomatoes, the trouble when using acid tomatoes is they need to be sweetened. I will be growing acid-free tomatoes this summer. I have used a grated apple and sticks of carrots to do this. This meal is so quick to make. I cooked rice noodles to go with it and stir-fried bok choy.
A slow cooked meal using shin beef, with a base of vegetables. Eaten with pasta this is so good.
Best ever Rustic Herb Stew, well that is what my husband says. Simple and full of flavour. Served with polenta and broccoli.
This Korean beef recipe is full of flavour. Place in a crock pot and sit down and relax. Add to brown rice or mashed potatoes.

This is a middle Eastern salad. High in Nutrients because of the chickpeas, black beans and apple cider vinegar ( this vinegar turns into an alkaline once digested.)
I used a mixture of Quinoa, Brown Rice and Black Rice.
Quinoa is pronounced Keen- wah . It is '' the mother of all grains '' so the Inca Empire have said. It comes in three colours - red, black and white.
Quinoa - Protein, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Magnesium, Folate and Fibre.
Brown Rice - Vitamin B3, Copper, Selenium, magnesium, Phosphorus.
Black Rice - Contains essential amino acid - Lysine, Tryptophan, Vitamins - B1, B2, folic acid, Minerals - Iron, Zinc, Calcium and Phosphorus.
I love my herbs. They die off over Winter because of our harsh Winters. I love it when Spring comes and they all pop up again and I had not done anything to them. Herbs are full of nutrition and should be used in your meals every day when available.

Fudge is usually too sweet for me but this recipe is not at all. Kept in the freezer and eaten cold it just melts in your mouth. My family love it.
Christmas Time coming up and traditionally Truffles are made, but I find they are very sweet. This is my version of a Christmas truffles. This recipe is gluten free (as long as you buy rolled oats made in a gluten free environment if you are celiac, but rolled oats are GF.) there is no processed sugar added just natural sugars unless you are dipping the truffles in dark chocolate.
I made a 3 batches or Tortilla dough - Masa Harina Flour - This flour is easy to buy in the supermarket. It is GLUTEN FREE
One is flavoured with turmeric, one is with smoked paprika and the other is plain.
This is a very quick loaf to make once you have cut up and cooked your pumpkin. It is incredibly moist and it will become a favourite.
This can be cooked, gluten free or with normal flour.
This is a moist gluten free fruit loaf that you will love. No butter needed on these slices. You don't even have to be gluten intolerant to eat it :) I promise you, you will feel great after eating it.

This is another winter, warming soup, using a cut of meat, that needs slow and long cooking, making it all worth it.
If the vibrant colour of this soup does not convince you to make it, I promise you the flavour will, it is incredible.
In the past I have made pea and ham soup really thick and very green. Well that is how it is meant to be. But this recipe is a little different, you can change this recipe and add more spilt peas for a thicker soup. I hope you love it like, I do.
This pumpkin soup starts with roasting the pumpkin, which gives the soup a slightly caramelised flavour. You also add stock to it, and if you have homemade the stock this then becomes a soup full of nutrition.
Dried Cannellini beans (navy bean) - soak over night, drain, put in a pot, cover with water and simmer for about 50 mins or until tender, drain, cool use or freeze in labelled freezer bags.

When I am having a few around for dinner I love to cook a cake for dessert. It is so much easier and not being overly sweet, this cake finishes off a lovely meal with friends.
This recipe makes two cakes - You can halve this recipe to make one. I freeze one cake, sliced, for another day if I don't need it straight away. I usually make more than I need, because as I say, ''My freezer is my favourite appliance in my Kitchen (ok, maybe my oven)'' It is full of real, unprocessed food that has been processed in my kitchen.
Don't be scared by the word ''Gluten Free '' seriously, some of you need to give gluten a break once in a while. Buckwheat flour is one of my favourite flours. It is a great protein and very filling. Easy to buy in supermarkets.
Remember the last time you ordered Sticky Date Pudding in a restaurant. If you are were like me, you would have found it, sickly sweet. I would not even order it now if it was on the menu. It is loaded with sugar. If you have watched the ''Sugar Film'' you differently would not.
This dessert is honestly the most amazing ''sweet treat'' you could ever eat. I have served this with coconut yogurt that I make. (recipe coming soon )

I have the pizza oven on, cooking chickens and have decided for my visitors tonight to have a very easy but delicious dessert - '' dessert on Pizza'' This pizza can be cooked in a normal oven or like I will be doing - in the pizza oven.
