This week, 3 lovely young girls visited me. One of them was Anya. Anya has a blog called https://runthe12.com/ her mission is ''raising money, by running for Charities. Focusing on children's health and wellness.
So it was Anya's idea to come and visit me with her friends and make me a Turmeric Latte. I had not tried this before and absolutely loved it. This recipe is similar to hers. In return I showed her how to make sauerkraut, she now has that fermenting in my ''Mad Millie'' crock.
Fresh turmeric and ginger can be frozen. They are easy to grate frozen.

1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk - always read the ingredients in both of these before buying.
1 tsp honey
Method
1 - Place all the above ingredients into a pot and bring up to a simmer. Do not boil.
2 - Strain through a strainer, into a mug.
Enjoy
Lovely warm Turmeric Latte for a very cold night.
Here is Anya preparing the latte.
Enjoy your latte for breakfast or just before going to bed- better than coffee. ( even though I do love my one coffee a day)
