This is a lovely, easy recipe for those that can not eat gluten.
Sweet Pastry - GF
225 gr gluten flour
1/4 cup coconut sugar or another sweetener
pinch salt
1/4 tsp xanthan gum
112 gr butter
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp cold water
Method
1 - Place all the ingredient, into a food processor and blend until it forms a ball.
2 - Cover and place in the fridge until ready to roll out.
Here is ''Apple Roses''(about to be cooked) you may have seen on the internet. This pastry is perfect for this recipe.
Once you have rolled out a rectangle, place steamed sliced (this is to make them pliable) apples on one side, they need to stick up from the pastry. Fold up the pastry and then roll from one end to the other. Place in a lined muffin dish and bake for about 20 - 40 minutes or until pastry is cooked.
