Coconut Yoghurt - GF

Here is a recipe that would suit someone that is dairy free, but most people I know eat this yogurt because they love the flavour. Which is why I love to make it, but of course the main reason is, It is fantastic for your, GUT FLORA.

Coconut Yoghurt Recipe - GF

I prefer to double this recipe, because it tastes so good and the process is long.

1  400 gr coconut milk - organic

3 probiotic capsules

1 tbsp Rice malt syrup - option, I don't use this.

Method

1 - Heat your coconut milk to 100 f or 37 C  in a small pot.

2 - Open up your capsules and pour the powder into your milk and whisk.

3 - Pour into a small jar and with the lid on, place in your oven with the light on only for 24 hours. The light will give off enough heat or place in a hot water cupboard.

4 - Place in the fridge to thicken. This will take up to 24 hours.

I have used two tins of coconut milk here.

The sweetener is an option.

Once you have left it in a warm place for 24 hours, place in the fridge to thicken up.
