Gluten Free Bread made with Chickpea and Almond flour - g/f,d/f,no eggs

Bread with energy.

This is my new favourite. I love bread but hate the weight and feeling bloated after eating gluten bread. It is the ground up chia seeds that hold this bread together. 

Nutrition in this bread - 

Chickpea's -  Gluten free and a high source of protein, fiber, Iron, vitamin B6 and Magnesium.

Almond meal -  Almonds are a stone fruit.They are packed with protein, vitamin's E and B : magnesium, copper, potassium, phosphorus, iron, calcium and fiber.

Linseeds - Flax seed and linseed are different names for the same seed. High in fiber and omega 3 fatty acids.

Chia seeds -  loaded with protein, fat (mostly omega 3's),calcium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc, vitamin B3, potassium, vitamin B1 and B2.

Gluten Free Bread made with Chickpea and Almond Flour Recipe

makes 1 loaf

1 1/2 cups chickpea flour

1 1/2 cups almond flour

2 tbsp ground linseeds

1/4 cup ground up chia seeds

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp Himalayan salt

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 cup your choice of milk - almond, cows, goats etc

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Method

line your bread tin with greased proof paper

1 - Mix your dry ingredients together.

2 - Mix the wet ingredients together.

3 - Combine all together and pour into your tin.

Bake 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

Cool in the tin. You can now slice and freeze if you want.
