Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Chorizo - GF

No more boiling your brussel sprouts, It is roast or raw. (I never eaten them raw) I usually just roast them with a little coconut oil and season, but I have found a chorizo sausage that has natural flavouring instead of the orange colour that is soooo bad for you.

Nutrition in Brussel Sprout's - really high in vitamin C and has vitamin A and B6. Also great fibre.

Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Chorizo Recipe

Enough to feed your family -

brussel sprouts - cut in half

coconut oil for roasting

sea salt / pepper

Chorizo with natural flavouring - sliced

Method

Oven 180c and a lined roasting oven tray

1 - Drizzle oil over the sprouts and season, place in the oven

2 - Roast until nearly tender, being careful not to burn them.

3 - Add the chorizo and roast all together until the brussel sprouts are completely cooked.

First partly roast the sprouts

Add the chorizo about 10 mins before the sprouts are cooked.

You can cook these early in the day and reheat them just before serving.
