Salad in a Jar - GF

I tried ''Salad in a Jar'' for the first time with my daughter Jessie. We layered the jar with grated raw beetroot, green apple and carrot. Added finely sliced cabbage and some soya beans. Topped with sunflower seeds. The dressing is my apple cider dressing which we added just before eating.

I am glad we choose a wide neck jar. It was easy to eat and fun. We used forks.

You can make all sorts of salads, fill your jar and take it to work or school. Goodbye to plastic containers, there is something about eating out of a glass jar that makes it clean and fresh.

So one evening, fill up a few jars for the week, I would suggest if are using grated beetroot place first in the jar.
