Home Made Ice Cream -GF

You don't need an ice cream maker to make healthy ice cream. 

This is for a treat only ....... not an everyday food even though it is a fruit ice cream.

Photo's below are of 1/2 the recipe stated. I did not have enough banana's at the time in my freezer.

Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe

6 frozen large banana's - Peel, slice and place into a bag and into the freezer.

6 tbsp organic cacao powder - straight from the cocao bean - high in antioxidants, iron and magnesium

Chopped 75 - 85% chocolate - as much as you like

6 tbsp coconut oil

Method

1 - Place into a food processor. Blend until smooth. Using a spatula to scraping down the side by  stopping the machine every now and then. Then stir in the chocolate.

2 - Place in a container with a lid and freezer until ready to serve.

 

Berry Ice Cream Recipe

6 frozen large banana's - Peel, slice and place into a bag and into the freezer.

6 tbsp coconut oil - option

1 cup chopped berries - I used frozen blackcurrant ( I grow them and freeze them)

Method

1 - Place into a food processor. Blend until smooth. Using a spatula to scraping down the side by  stopping the machine every now and then.

2 - Place in a container with a lid and freezer until ready to serve.

Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe

6 frozen large banana's - Peel, slice and place into a bag and into the freezer.

2 tbsp organic crunchy peanut butter

4 tbsp almond milk

2 tsp cinnamon 

 

Method

1 - Place into a food processor. Blend until smooth. Using a spatula to scraping down the side by  stopping the machine every now and then.

2 - Place in a container with a lid and freezer until ready to serve.
