These Gluten Free - Ginger Bread Biscuits are lovely but unfortunately are not sugar free. These are meant to be for Christmas as a sweet treat. Fun to make and easy enough for kids to make.
Ginger Bread Biscuit- gf Recipe
225 gr gluten-free flour
1 tbsp ginger
2 tbsp mixed spice
4 tbsp golden syrup
45 gr butter
35 gr brown sugar
1/2 tbsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tbsp water, if too dry
Method
1 - I a small pot melt butter, brown sugar and golden syrup
2 - Mix flour and spices (not baking soda) with a whisk to blend
3 - Mix the baking soda into the melted butter.
4 - Now mix all ingredients together. If this mixture is to stick, just add a little more flour.
5 - Roll out and cut into shapes
Bake at 180c for about 5 - 8 minutes or until lightly brown.
