Roasted Spicy Chickpea's Recipe

As many dried chickpea's as you like -

Soak in a lot of water in a large bowl.

Drain the next day and simmer in fresh water for about 50 minutes or until tender.

Drain and cool  allowing them to dry out.

Spices -

You can try all sorts of spices and herbs - I used dried coriander, cumin, smoked paprika, curry powder and plenty of turmeric (this is important because it is really good for you)

Olive oil or coconut oil

Sea salt

Method

1 - Place chickpeas in a bowl and pour some oil in, to coat them, now sprinkle any amount of spice (be generous ) and salt over the chickpeas and stir.

2 - Lay them on a large oven tray and roast - 200 deg for about 40 minutes to 1 hour or until dry and crunchy. Check and moving them around every now and then. You may have hot spots in your oven where they will burn.

Once you have coated the chickpea's with oil and spices lay them on a baking tray.

Roast until dry and really crunchy.

These are really good. xx
